"Workplace Mentoring"
Mentoring is an excellent tool for relationship building and networking. This relationship provides the mentor an opportunity to learn and practice ways of passing on knowledge, improve people skills, and enlarge their professional network. The protégé or mentee has the opportunity to learn from the experiences, mistakes, and successes of others, which can help them avoid pitfalls and roadblocks on the path to success. Administrative professionals are in a unique position in which to leverage this powerful tool and this is our opportunity to explore how to advance the practice within our ranks.
